For the last few years, as someone who applies the zero-waste lifestyle in my daily life since 2016, I notice that more people are open and actively campaigning this low impact and yet sustainable lifestyle, which I am super happy about. And one of the indicators that I could see is the increasing number of eco-stores / business available in Lombok with.

These eco-stores usually provide daily needs in bulk without plastic packaging such as detergent, soap, oil, grains, spices, fruits, tea, coffee and more. You also can find zero-waste essentials such as beeswax wrap, produce bag, loofah, and bamboo toothbrush. - Gili Eco Trust in Gili Trawangan

Gili Eco Trust is a local NGO created in 2000 with purpose coral reef restoration from destructive fishing around the three Gilis (Gili Trawangan, Air and Meno). Gili Eco Trust has also extended its activities to many Eco projects like the beach clean up, waste management, recycling, eco-tourism, and do some other projects for eco-education purposes.
For their eco-shop, you can find upcycled glass gifts, zero waste products, and plastic-free souvenirs such as water bottles, reusable bags & straws, candles, loofah, and they have book swap corner too where you can swap your own book with their collection available.
2. Sustairnable in Gili Air

Once you are in Gili Air, we would love to recommend you to visit Sustairnable shop, which is located nearby the harbor of Gili Air. They have various plastic-free products such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner, soap bar, loofah, coffee, jam, bamboo cutleries, bamboo straws, fabrics, water bottles, and many more. Opened in December 2019, Sustairnable has already collected various products that are locally made.

Located in the busiest spot in Kuta, My Essential is a lovely place to visit. It focuses to provide natural health and beauty products such as soap, masks, shampoo bars, essential oils, honey, jam, butter, lånepengar and coffee. Promoting self-love through using herbs and natural products, My Essential has been attracting many people to come and try their products. Who does not love traditional herb anyway?
4. Asmara Collection Lombok in Senggigi

Asmara Collection is owned by Ibu Sakinah, one of the active eco-warriors in Lombok. She also founded Lombok Ocean Care which is dedicated to cleaning the beaches & oceans in Lombok. The eco-store that she owns provides some essential zero-waste kit such as soap, shampoo bar, water bottle, reusable bags, bamboo cutleries, batik napkins and many more. What makes Asmara different is it has various traditional handcrafted products, so you can find some beautiful crafts there.
5. Saifana Organic Farm in North Lombok

Get back in touch with nature! is their tagline. Saifana Organic Farm is a place to visit when you are interested in permaculture and organic farming. You can also have their harvested products such as fruit jam, cashew, and coffee there. Saifana also provides some eco-friendly products that you can try. The best time to visit is during lunchtime or even stay in their wooden bungalows so you can try their vegan and homegrown tasty foods.
